There is magic that occurs when you meet your soulmate here on earth, and the expression of your love and purpose for your life happens to collide in musical collaboration, and also in life!  Leora and Scott’s gift, as the music duo Winsome Kind, is making music along the way. It’s been a 10 year journey together thus far, and lifetimes worth of songs, stages, and stories. Their latest album, Love in a Hurricane, was recorded almost entirely with a mobile on-the-go studio, during a 2-year adventure in Mexico and then across Western Canada (in a 32 foot camper with their 3 kiddos) to create their unique blend of folk, pop, and harmony, straight from the heart without ever missing a beat. It was completed on Salt Spring Island with the help of local legend Daryl Chonka, who mixed and mastered the album. With songs such as Living Free, Frequency, Trail of Love, Hola Hola and Keep on Lovin’, they hope to continue to inspire heartfelt connection, unity, and strength, in their authentic and winsome way.
