There is massive power in group singing, and it’s what a large part of my professional career has been based on. I spent years in high level choirs and small groups in Europe and Los Angeles (LA Master Chorale, session choirs, opera choruses) alongside my wonderful solo opera/classical/jazz performances and recordings.  The experience of blending voices and singing at expert levels is utterly sublime, and I am grateful to have been so blessed with this as my life’s work.

The Group Singing Experience

Singing together is a way to create heaven here on earth, and everyone can sing! It does not require talent or tuning (although it helps! haha), just breathing, expressing emotion in unison, in harmony, in rhythm, and in listening to the each other.

Note: I am not a music educator or a voice teacher.   I’m a retired professional performer looking to inspire others to bring music into their lives.   I’m happy to sing some songs a cappella as an introduction, give folks some basic tools and instructions on group singing and lead them in singing together some songs that we probably all know or are easy to learn, and work with other musicians there as well for fun.
